Painters District Council No. 30 (PDC 30) is a labor organization that serves as a resource to contractors who perform painting, drywall finishing, or glazing work. We help fill the manpower needs of hundreds of contractors throughout Illinois. PDC 30 is always looking for Affiliate Members to join the Organization to help fill these manpower needs. Complete your membership application today!

Becoming an Affiliate Member is easy. We’ve broken the application process down into three quick steps, which can be completed online, in person, or over the phone. Once you join, you will be contacted by a PDC 30 Representative to complete a brief questionnaire about your work experience. Your membership lasts two full years and comes with a variety of benefits – all for a one-time payment of $36.

The biggest benefit of Affiliate Membership is an easy, low-cost transition into full Union membership for an employment opportunity. PDC 30 serves as a resource to our members, to help make certain workers’ rights are protected on the job. And if your rights are violated, we can help you deal with issues with your employer, at no additional cost.

If an opportunity opens up to for you to work for a union employer, you’ll pay a reduced application fee in upgrading your membership to the full Union membership level.
After signing up as an Affiliate Member, you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt and official Membership Certificate. As an added introductory perk, you’ll receive Affiliate Membership gear and be invited to special membership events throughout the year.
