On Monday, August 24, 2020, PDC 30 delivered back packs and school supplies for over 450 children set to return to the classroom at Lewis Lemon Elementary in Rockford next week. The donation was made possible through a partnership between the union and the school earlier this year. All items were purchased by the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades (IUPAT) and its PATCH Foundation, which works in collaboration with local union IUPAT affiliates to better the lives of children throughout the United States and Canada.

On Monday, August 17, 2020, Painters District Council No. 30 awarded $15,000 to NAMI DuPage, in support of their “Ending the Silence” program, which works with students throughout DuPage county to raise awareness on mental illness and reduce the stigma associated with it. The $15,000 award was part of PDC 30’s annual grant program, which awards funding to organizations benefiting children and professional renovation services to local community organizations in need.

El Concilio del Distrito de Pintores No. 30 (PDC 30) se complace en anunciar los planes para reabrir parcialmente la instalación de Aurora, y el personal estará disponible para reunirse en persona con los miembros y visitantes, a partir del 27 de julio. A partir de esa fecha, los miembros/visitantes podrán programar una cita para reuniones en persona con la oficina necesaria en función de sus necesidades. Painters District Council No. 30 (PDC 30) is pleased to announce plans to partially re-open the Aurora facility, and to make staff available to meet in-person with members and visitors, beginning July 27th. On and after that date, members/visitors will be able to schedule an appointment for in-person meetings with the necessary office based on their needs. Apprentices and members scheduled to attend training programs should follow separate guidance provided to them by the NCIFTI.
