On April 17, 2021, PDC 30 coordinated three food drives throughout North-Central Illinois. The initiative was part of an annual Community Day of Action, where union members across the nation volunteer their time to make a difference and give back to their local communities.
On Saturday, April 17th, PDC 30 conducted a STARs Finalist Drawing to determine the 2021 STARS Grand Prize and Secondary Grand Prize Finalists. During the drawing, five (5) finalists were drawn for the Grand Prize Drawing and five (5) finalists were drawn for the Secondary Grand Prize Drawing. Later this spring, these 10 finalists will participate in the STARs Award Ceremony at PDC 30’s headquarters in Aurora, to determine the official 2021 winners.
Throughout the month of April, IUPAT members across the nation will come together to volunteer and give back to their local communities. Please join PDC 30’s 2021 Community Day of Action plan – help us support local food banks throughout our jurisdiction! PDC 30 will coordinate food drives in Aurora, Morton, and Rockford, Illinois. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2021 grant program. This year, we will award $15,000 in funding to one organization benefiting children and we will award renovation services to multiple organizations throughout North-Central Illinois. Applications will be accepted April 1 - June 1, 2021 and grant awards will be annouced by August 1, 2021.
