Aurora Event (Blackberry Farm)
As of 10:00PM on Friday, this event is still scheduled to take place as planned.
The forecast is calling for extremely cold temperatures on Saturday (approximately 7 degrees, which will feel like -10 degrees). Please dress accordingly, and consider wearing layers, winter boots, and/or snow gear to stay warm while walking between the barn (breakfast location) and the carriage house (Santa's location). All rides (train, wagon rides) will be closed due to the cold weather. Heaters have been rented to provide heat for the barn area.
Bathroom update: porta potties will be available near the barn and carriage house (all facilities with running water will be closed due to the cold weather).
Updates will be posted on this page, and texts will be sent to all registered guests if the event is cancelled.
Hanna City Event (Wildlife Prairie Park)
As of 10:00PM on Friday, this event is still scheduled to take place as planned.
A winter weather advisory is in effect starting at 7am on Saturday. The forecast is calling for 2 to 5 inches of snow. Please give yourself extra time to drive to the venue, and be prepared for snowy road conditions. If you feel it is unsafe to travel to the event from your location, please stay home. Should you miss the event, we will coordinate distribution of gifts for you and your families at a later date.
The indoor area will be heated, as always.
