2026 Grant Award Recipients
PDC 30 is excited to announce the award recipients of our 2026 Grant Cycle.
Community Partnership Grants will be awarded to Fox Valley United Way (Aurora), Well Child Center (Elgin), and YouthBuild McLean County (Bloomington). Our organization will complete renovation projects for each award recipient throughout the remainder of the year. All renovation work will be performed by our union members - these highly trained professionals take pride in their work and continuously seek opportunities to volunteer their skills, showcase their craft, and give back.
The PATCH Foundation Grant will be awarded to Suicide Prevention Services of America (Batavia). The organization works to reduce the number of suicides and stigmas surrounding mental health in our local communities through education, prevention, intervention, and postvention programming. The $20,000 grant funding will enable SPSA to offer presentations to students grades 3-12 in Kane, Kendall, and DeKalb counties at no charge to the school districts. This shift in fee structure will increase outreach and reduce access barriers, allowing the organization to reach more children who are in need. We are excited to support their important work.
