Vote by Mail
Between February 8th and March 15th, you can request a mail-in ballot and vote by mail. You must fill out the form specific to your county (either online or on paper) to request a vote by mail ballot. Once you receive the ballot from your County Clerk, it must be returned by mail and postmarked on or before midnight, March 20th.

Early Voting
Beginning March 5th, you can vote early in person at designated locations. You can cast an early vote at any of the locations established in the county you live in - you are not limited to your designated polling place (as you would be if you voted on Election Day).

Grace Period Registration & Voting
Regular voter registration ends February 20th. Illinois residents can register to vote AND submit a vote on Election Day, through the same-day voter registration program. Two forms of identification with at least one showing your current residence address are needed when you register in-person. Same-day registration locations vary by county. Call your County Clerk’s office for information on your same-day voter registration location.

On Election Day, registered voters can vote only at their designated polling place, which is indicated on your voter registration card.

Ways to Get Involved
PDC 30 will host labor walks and phone banks leading up to Primary Election Day. Various events will take place in Aurora, Peoria, Bloomington, Rockford, Ottawa, and Kankakee. PDC 30 members, friends, and family members will receive $15 per hour of volunteer service. Call for questions, or to sign up to volunteer:

PDC 30's New Participation Program
PDC 30 developed a new prize program to reward members that regularly participate in political action activity during an election cycle. Join us for labor walks and phone banking before Election Day, then cash in on some exciting prizes! All PDC 30 members are eligible for prizes. All election activity between January 1st and March 20th will be counted.
